Roland Mouret leases Madison Avenue townhouse

Thor Equities has leased 5,250 s/f of retail space at 1006 Madison Avenue on the Upper East Side to women’s wear designer, Roland Mouret.

The UK-based French clothing brand has secured the entire landmark townhouse owned by Thor Equities for its New York flagship store. 1006 Madison Avenue features 20-foot ceilings and six expansive levels.

“Roland Mouret has selected the ideal location on the Upper East Side for its new flagship store,” said Joseph Sitt, CEO of Thor Equities.

“With Apple Store opening on 940 Madison Avenue and the Metropolitan Museum of Art coming to 945 Madison Avenue, this corridor is continuing to grow in stature as a premier destination for both locals and international visitors.”
