RKF brings Brazilian luxury interior design store to Midtown East

RKF announced that it has secured a 3,267-square-foot location for Brazilian luxury interior design brand Ornare’s first store in New York, at 150 East 58th Street. When it opens in March 2017, this will be the brand’s third store in the U.S., in addition to its Miami and Dallas locations.

RKF Senior Director Alex Cesar represented the tenant while the landlord, Manhattan-based Vornado Realty Trust (NYSE: VNO), was represented in-house by Katherine Flaherty.

Located in the thriving neighborhood of Midtown East between Lexington and Third Avenues, 150 East 58th Street—commonly known as the Architects & Designers Building—houses some of the world’s finest interior design showrooms, including Alno USA, B & B Italia, Bosch Design Center, Ferguson Bath, Kitchen and Lighting Gallery, Gaggenau Design Studio, Holly Hunt New York, and the Miele Experience Center.

The A&D building is just steps from the high-end luxury market of Park, Madison and Fifth Avenues, and across the street from iconic Manhattan destinations Bloomingdales department store and Le Cirque restaurant. Ornare will showcase its high-end kitchen, bath and closet designs in 3,267 square feet on the fourth floor.
“150 East 58th Street is the perfect location for luxury brands wanting to make a mark in the New York interior design world,” said Cesar.

“We are thrilled to have helped Ornare become part of such an A-list building, where it will continue its successful expansion in the U.S., and are looking forward to assist them with other locations with an eye toward Chicago and LA.”
