●Accordia Realty Ventures
Ripco, NJ, to lease makeover mall

Curtis Nassau of Ripco Real Estate, New Jersey, announced that Godwin Plaza in Midland Park is to undergo a major renovation and repositioning.

The center, located at 644-658 Godwin Avenue, was purchased last year by Accordia Realty Ventures of Fairfield, NJ, with the intention of transforming the aging center.

According to Jason Bogart, principal of Accordia, “Midland Park is a terrific community. We see the demand for new retail space in the market. As such, we plan to make a major investment in the center and reposition it as The Shoppes at Godwin in order to best serve this need,”

“We’ve hired Ripco to help us with our leasing because of their deep market knowledge, breath of marketing resources and ability to reach retailers,ˮ said

Sarah Loudon, director of marketing for Accordia.

Along with Nassau, Alison Horbach and Mike Rawlins are a part of the team spearheading the assignment for Ripco. “The Shoppes at Godwin is well positioned to service the surrounding communities,ˮ said Rawlins.

“There is a need for new retail space with good parking. The Shoppes at Godwin could be ideal for restaurants, salons, spas and other service related tenants.”
