Related Urban Breaks Ground at Gallery at West Brickell

Related Urban Development Group (Related Urban), along with Miami-Dade County and Miami-Dade County Public Schools celebrated the groundbreaking of Gallery at West Brickell on Wednesday, September 21. The event, which commemorated the start of construction on the third Gallery property, attracted many VIPs, including Miami-Dade County Mayor, Daniella Levine Cava; Miami-Dade County District 5 Commissioner, Eileen Higgins; Miami-Dade County Public Housing Director, Michael Liu; Related CEO Jorge M. Perez among others.

“Through this groundbreaking, we are paving the way for hundreds of local families to find accessibly priced homes in a Class A development located within a block of mass transit that they can all be proud of,” said Albert Milo, President of Related Urban, the affordable and mixed-income arm of development giant Related Group. “Working hand in hand with the School Board, the County and the City, we are continuing to show the immense potential of public-private developments. This is the future of our sector.”

The 29-story Gallery at West Brickell is located at 201 SW 10 St. in the City of Miami. Once complete, the property will offer 465 mixed-income units, ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments. Rents will vary depending on tenants’ income. Pre-leasing will commence in late 2025.

“The last year has seen Miami solidify itself as one of the world’s most in-demand residential markets, but Miami-Dade County is committed to ensuring local families, teachers and other members of the workforce can live in the urban core and enjoy everything it offers,” said Housing Director, Michael Liu.

Much like its sister properties, Gallery at West Brickell was designed from the ground up to be on par with its market-rate counterparts. Featuring a mix of conveniences and unexpected luxuries, the lifestyle offerings on hand raise the bar for future workforce housing and improves residents’ quality of life. Highlights include the property’s sun deck, complete with a resort-style pool and panoramic views of the Brickell skyline. Other amenities include a state-of-the-art fitness center, various pet amenities, a podcast studio, a wifi-enabled coworking space and much more.
