Plus-sized leader signs jumbo deal at One NY Plaza

OSP Group, a direct-to-consumer leader in women’s and men’s apparel dedicated exclusively to plus sizes, is relocating its corporate headquarters from midtown Manhattan to One New York Plaza in Lower Manhattan.

Newmark Grubb Knight Frank (NGKF) executive managing director Brian Goldman and managing director Eric Cagner represented OSP Group in the site search and lease negotiations. Jerry Larkin, Duncan McCuaig and David McBride represented Brookfield Properties inhouse along with CBRE brokers Ken Rapp, Peter Turchin, Adam Foster, Mike Rizzo and Cara Chayet.Brian GoldmanNEWMARK

OSP’s move to one of the Manhattan is a statement of the company’s commitment to further its leadership in the fashion space for sizes 12 and up, according to CEO Paul Tarvin.

The new office space will consolidate the company’s two Manhattan locations into a single, modern 156,000 s/f space at the 50-story tower.

Currently, OSP’s two midtown locations house associates who specialize in e-commerce, global sourcing, creative services, merchandising, marketing and design for brands including Woman Within®, Roaman’s, Jessica London, swimsuitsforall, King Size, BrylaneHome, OneStopPlus.com and more.

“Our business has been growing rapidly and we expect that trend to continue. Relocating to One New York Plaza will allow us to accommodate that growth and provides an exciting and innovative work environment for our teams that will allow us to recruit new talent attracted to the vibrancy of Lower Manhattan,” said Tarvin.

“Our associates and our business will benefit from a more collaborative and integrated work space across our multiple brands and functions. In addition to the benefits of a modern building with first-class amenities, we are very excited to join the downtown community, which is becoming one of New York City’s premier business locations.”

Unispace, a global design, project management and construction firm specializing in cutting-edge corporate interiors, has been hired to create a new workplace for OSP Group’s over 400 New York associates. The move is scheduled for September 2015.

OSP Group will join fellow tenants including Revlon and Morgan Stanley at One New York Plaza.
