National interactive fitness platform Peloton Interactive has inked a 156,068 s/f industrial lease at 1500 Blair Road in Carteret, New Jersey.
CBRE said the company will utilize the space as a warehouse/distribution and fulfillment center. Targeted occupancy is planned for October 2019.
The CBRE team of Scott Belfer and Lou Belfer negotiated the long-term lease transaction on behalf of Peloton Interactive.
CBRE’s Thomas Monahan, Stephen D’Amato, Larry Schiffenhaus, Anastasia Lazarides, Lauren Griffith and Gerard Monahan represented the building ownership, AEW.
“Peloton Interactive needed a state-of-the-art warehouse and distribution facility with convenient access to the New Jersey Turnpike that was also in close proximity to New York City and near a robust labor pool,” said Belfer.
“1500 Blair Road fit our client’s requirements perfectly and its location was a key factor in its decision to commit to a long-term lease for the entire complex.”
Located minutes from Midtown Manhattan, Newark Liberty International Airport and the Ports of Newark and Elizabeth, 1500 Blair Road features 17 loading docks, 36 ft.ceilings, ESFR sprinklers, a secured truck court and parking trailer storage.
