National Realty & Development Corp., (NRDC), announced Chipotle Mexican Grill opened at Orange Plaza.
Orange Plaza is an 815,000 s/f power-center located at the intersection of Route 211 East & Route 17 in Middletown, New York.
The shopping center is anchored by Walmart Supercenter, The Home Depot, Kohl’s Department Store, Burlington Coat Factory, Marshalls, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Staples.
“Chipotle worked with NRDC to construct a restaurant with an enclosed patio area. We are excited about Chipotle’s opening and look forward to their tenancy at Orange Plaza,” said Dovid M. Spector, director of retail leasing, NRDC.
Orange Plaza draws shoppers from a 12-mile radius exceeding 157,000 people. Approximately 20,000 vehicles of the 46,000 daily trips on Route 17 are shopping center/mall destination trips.
NRDC currenlty has four projects in various stages of development that will add to its 22 million square foot portfolio.
Liberty Square Center in Burlington, NJ, will expand by 40,000 s/f to accommodate a Walmart Supercenter; the Marketplace at Manville in Manville, NJ, will be expanded by 36,000 s/f; and the former Walmart building in Pohatcong Plaza I in Phillipsburg, NJ will be renovated to accommodate new tenants joining the center. Early last year Walmart relocated to a larger Supercenter concept
at NRDC’s Pohatcong Plaza II.
