New firm aims to get tenants better buyout terms

A team of real estate veterans has launched a firm to represent being offered buyouts.

Metro Tenant Advisors (MTA) will negotiate on behalf of rent regulated tenants, occupants in foreclosure and commercial tenants to achieve the highest and best terms on a buyout.

Robert Sedaghatpour, principal of STRATCO Property Group, is leading a team that specializes in structured negotiations and agreements.

A 19-year veteran of the real estate industry, Sedaghatpour’s work with STRATCO saw him execute hundreds of buyouts.

“We believe there is an underserved niche in representing tenants who want and may benefit from a lease buyout,” he said.

“An opportunity has arisen for a small market of tenants who do want to negotiate, but don’t want to get lost and confused with advocates and representatives that have objectives that conflict with their own.
