Muss taps Avison Young for leasing at 64 West 48th Street

Avison Young has been retained by Muss Development as the exclusive retail leasing agent for 64 West 48th Street, the developer’s 17-story, 130,000 s/f mixed-use property in midtown.

The retail totals 15,612 s/f spread across the ground-floor, mezzanine and lower levels. The space is currently occupied by City Sports, a sporting goods establishment that will vacate the premises at the end of December.

The Avison Young team of Jedd Nero, principal and executive managing director of New York City retail, and associates Christa Goulakos and Jeremy Schwartz are handling the assignment. “Located within a block of Rockefeller Center, the space will draw interest from a host of local, national and international brands that are seeking well-appointed retail space in one of the most vibrant locations in the entire country,” Nero said.

“With hundreds of thousands of people visiting Rockefeller Center every day — from local office workers to tourists visiting the skating rink, Radio City Music Hall and other local attractions — this property offers unparalleled exposure to the incredible number of shopping, dining and entertainment options in the heart of Midtown.”
