RXR Realty announced today that FASHIONPHILE, the pioneering luxury recommerce company, will lease over 60,000 s/f on the fourth floor of the Starrett-Lehigh Building in West Chelsea.
The ten-year term lease will be FASHIONPHILE’S initial presence in New York City.
As the exclusive re-commerce partner of Neiman Marcus, FASHIONPHILE is one of the world’s top resellers of pre-owned ultra-luxury accessories.

“For FASHIONPHILE, this is so much more than signing a lease to expand our East Coast operations. In this beautiful space, we will be welcoming our customers – both shoppers and sellers – into the space to meet our brand in person, shop, sell, and even get a peek into how we authenticate, photograph, and process the items they see on Fashionphile.com,” said Ben Hemminger, CEO of FASHIONPHILE.
“The location in the heart of Manhattan is designed around the idea of meeting our customers where they are and creating a first-of-its-kind truly interactive luxury customer experience.”
The Starrett-Lehigh Building is the landmarked Manhattan property encompassing a full city block between 11th and 12th Avenues and 26th and 27th Streets, with 2.3 million square feet of office and retail space. Known throughout the industry as the home of top global leaders in fashion, design, media and technology, tenants include Ralph Lauren, Canada Goose and UnderArmor.
“Starrett-Lehigh continues to grow as a hub for design and culture, attracting some of the most iconic brands as tenants,” said William Elder, Executive Vice President Leasing at RXR Realty.
“We are thrilled to lease such a large space to FASHIONPHILE, and we believe the location is a perfect one as they expand their footprint and enter one of the world’s fashion capitals, Manhattan.”
Jason Frazier and Jesse de la Rama of CBRE represented FASHIONPHILE in the transaction, and RXR was represented in-house by Dan Birney and Denise Rodriguez. Asking rent was $70 per square foot. A CBRE team of Mary Ann Tighe, Sacha Zarba, Evan Haskell and Jeffrey Fischer is the agent for the Starrett Lehigh building
