LIC to get new Chase

Chase Bank will open a new retail location at the base of HERO LIC, a new condominium building by Silverback Development. The 3,697 s/f commercial space has been leased for a 10-year term.

HERO LIC, located at 24-16 Queens Plaza South, Long Island City, is a comprised of 109 residential units and one ground floor commercial unit.

Previously a five-story office building, Silverback Development constructed 17 stories atop the existing structure. The owner of the existing five story structure, The Kirsh Family headed by Roy Kirsh, retained ownership of the commercial unit. Silverback Development has since substantially completed development of the project, obtaining TCO for all residential units as well as the commercial space in December, 2019.

Roy Kirsch represented the landlord in this transaction, while Chase Bank was represented by Hymie Dweck of Newmark Knight Frank.
