Levin Management expands portfolio with new retail assignment

Retail real estate services organization, Levin Management has been named property management firm for Essex Green, a 351,000 s/f, grocery-anchored shopping center at 495 Prospect Ave. in West Orange.

The assignment represents the expansion of Levin’s Essex County retail portfolio, according to Robert Carson, Levin’s executive vice president.

“The addition of Essex Green is significant for us because the shopping center’s new owner is a long-time Levin client,” said Carson.

“We are delighted that the company’s principals recognize our capabilities and expertise in the delivery of property management services. This assignment is another example of how our ability to consistently meet, and exceed, client needs continues to foster long-term partnerships with retail landlords.”

Essex Green is anchored by a ShopRite supermarket and retailers, restaurants and service providers include an AMC Dine-In theatre, Sears Outlet and TGI Friday’s.

Essex Green also is home to one of a select number of the new, off-price Macy’s Backstage stores in the tristate area.

Essex Green marks the continued growth of Levin’s regional leasing and management portfolio.

The firm was awarded a number of significant new assignments in recent months, including properties in Whiting and Woodbridge, N.J.; Philadelphia, Pa.; and Hicksville, N.Y.
