SL Green Realty Corp announced that law firm Golenbock, Eiseman, Assor, Bell & Peskoe LLP has signed a 10+ year lease covering 38,050 s/f for two tower floors at 711 Third Avenue.
The 20-story, 583,000 s/f tower is located one block east of Grand Central Terminal.
“Leasing at 711 Third Avenue has been extremely active with 75,838 s/f of new tenant leases signed this year,” said Steven Durels, executive vice president director of leasing and real property.
“In addition to Golenbock, the building has signed new leases with Ackman Ziff for 19,025 s/f and Niche Media for 19,587 s/f.”
711 Third Avenue is known for its distinctive lobby mosaic walls created by celebrated artist Hans Hofman.
Other building tenants include McKinsey & Company, Ricoh Corp., Taylor & Francis Group and Chicago Title.
Scott Panzer from Jones Lang LaSalle and Robert Silver of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank co-brokered the transaction on behalf of the law firm, while Howard Tenenbaum and Gary Rosen represented SL Green in-house.
