Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Laura Pomerantz has joined the firm as vice chairman and head of strategic accounts.

Pomerantz, who most recently served as principal and founding partner of Laura Pomerantz Real Estate, is expected to be joined by five professionals from her firm, including her longstanding associates Betty Ende and Ilyssa Schwartzberg.
Pomerantz will lead the newly formed Strategic Accounts group and will be responsible for growing relationships at the firm.

With nearly 20 years of commercial real estate experience, Pomerantz has completed more than eight million square feet of office and retail assignments for clients including Bloomberg L.P., Stroock & Stroock & Lavan, Tom Ford, Giorgio Armani, Hudson’s Bay Company, Josie Natori, Tory Burch and Stuart Weitzman. She is also the exclusive and national representative for Ted Baker/London, Scoop, Levi Strauss & Company and Vince Camuto. In addition, she has represented Abercrombie & Fitch for flagships in the United States and internationally – and has completed deals on its behalf in Milan, Paris, Hamburg, Dusseldorf, Brussels, Copenhagen, Dublin, London and Madrid.

Prior to establishing Laura Pomerantz Real Estate, Pomerantz was principal and co-founder of PBS Real Estate and PBS/Gould Ventures. She also served as a senior managing director at Newmark & Company Real Estate, with senior level responsibility for major tenant representation assignments. She was the executive vice president at The Leslie Fay Companies for 18 years and served on their Board of Directors.
Pomerantz serves on several business boards including G-III, a public apparel manufacturing and retail company, and ROIC, a real estate public company REIT, as well as serving on a private Real Estate Fund Board for AREA Properties, the former Apollo Real Estate.
