Kamber taps Pei Cobb Freed for Tower 45 project

Kamber Management Company announced that Pei Cobb Freed & Partners has been engaged for the next phase of a multi-million dollar makeover of Tower 45.

Tower 45 is a modern Class A 458,446 s/f multi-tenant office building located at 120 West 45th Street in Midtown.

Kamber paid $365 million to purchase the tower at 120 West 45th Street from SL Green in 2015 .The capital improvements will include a re-imagined atrium and lobby by Pei Cobb Freed.

Built in 1989 and originally designed by Swanke Hayden Connell Architects, Tower 45 is a 40-story building featuring virtually column-free floorplates ranging from 9,304 to 13,318 s/f.

The building possesses a number of physical features that enhance its status as a premier boutique office asset. Tower 45 offers numerous options for office tenants from 13,318 square foot full floors to customized pre-built suite spaces ranging from 1,500 to 6,500 s/f.
