JLL welcomes trio of leading tenant rep brokers to New York office

JLL has hired three new professionals for its New York Brokerage division — vice chairman, Evan Margolin; managing director, Scott Ansel, and vice president, Ben Levy who will operate from JLL’s Midtown Manhattan office.

Acknowledged among New York’s most successful brokers, the trio will cement JLL’s tenant representation practice in the region while servicing their clients across the tri-state area, nationally and globally.

Margolin, Ansel and Levy join JLL from Savills, where they had a diverse practice with a focus on users of high-end, Class A office space. A 20-year veteran of the industry, Margolin has represented well over 100 hedge funds and other boutique financial services firms in office leasing transactions. He is thoroughly immersed in the Midtown Manhattan marketplace, formulates real estate strategies for his clients that complement their long-term business plans and is recognized for exceeding his clients’ expectations through exceptional service.

Ansel spent more than seven years at Savills where he developed an expertise working in the high-end office market. His deal volume, market knowledge and transaction management skills set him apart as an indispensable member of the team.

Coming from a real estate family and growing up around the business, Levy joined Savills in 2019 after graduating from Northwestern University. He has been recognized for his tenacious business development efforts and quick comprehension of the overall marketplace and transaction process.

“We are thrilled to welcome Evan, Scott and Ben to JLL, brokers with phenomenal reputations in the industry who will be leaders of our tenant representation platform,” said Peter Riguardi, Chairman and President of JLL’s Tri-state Region. “Their skills and experience will be a valuable asset to our clients and to the firm as we continue our growth.”

“The JLL brand presents a powerful value proposition at a time of uncertainty and opportunity for tenants in the market today,” Margolin said. “JLL’s reputation as a market leader and its broad array of service lines complement our commitment to achieving tenant goals, and we look forward to building on these synergies to best serve our clients.”
