Vegan and organic meal delivery firm Sakara Life, Inc. takes full floor at 10 Crosby Street
JLL has completed an 8,425-square-foot, full-floor lease at 10 Crosby Street in SoHo, bringing the boutique office and retail building to 100 percent occupancy. Vegan and organic meal delivery firm Sakara Life, Inc. signed a five-year lease for the entire third floor of the property, which is located between Grand and Howard streets in the heart of SoHo. The company is expanding in a relocation from 580 Broadway.
The transaction brings the 35,000-square-foot building to full occupancy following a series of recent building improvements from ownership, including lobby renovations, upgraded and modernized building systems, new wireless entry systems, tenant-controlled HVAC systems, and a new passenger elevator.
Only steps from multiple bus lines and the Canal Street subway station’s N, Q, R and W lines, 10 Crosby Street is a five-story building with oversized windows, exceptional ceiling heights and classic SoHo craftsmanship. Other office tenants of 10 Crosby Street include private equity firm MiddleGround Capital, New York-based handbag and accessories brand MZ Wallace and transit-tech company Via Transportation. The building’s retail tenants include Henrybuilt, a custom kitchen company, and a newly designed Starbucks coffee shop.
JLL vice chairman Mitchell Konsker, executive managing director Dan Turkewitz and vice president Kyle Young represented ownership, Madison Capital, in the transaction. They worked closely with John Clote, a vice president with Madison Capital. The tenant was represented by Jason Majlessi and Arash Sadighi, co-founders of Venture Commercial.
