RKF, the exclusive retail leasing agent for Japanese family entertainment concept, Round One, announced that the brand will open six new locations this year across the U.S.
With the addition of these new stores, Round One will have 11 locations nationally, with plans for eight more locations in 2016.
As part of this expansion, Round One will open new locations in California, Washington, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.
According to David Friedman, vice president of RKF’s San Francisco office, who arranged all six leasing transactions on behalf of Round One, the brand is actively looking for new locations in gateway Northeast markets such as New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania, as well as strong retail trade areas in Texas, Washington, Oregon, California, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio and Minnesota.
“Round One’s retail locations are situated in some of the best shopping centers in the US,” Friedman commented. “As Round One continues to roll out their nationwide retail expansion, RKF looks forward to helping them find the best retail locations this year and into 2017.”
Round One currently operates more than 100 locations in Japan and five existing U.S. locations at the Parks at Arlington in Arlington, Texas; the Stratford Square Mall in Bloomingdale, Illinois; Lakewood Center Mall in Lakewood, California; Moreno Valley Mall in Moreno Valley, California; and Puente Hills Mall in City of Industry, California.
The $1 billion company operates a total of 28 million square feet of retail locations worldwide.
