Innovative Pet Care Provider URvet Care To Open First Lower Manhattan Clinic at Jack Resnick & Sons’ 200 Chambers Street Condominium Tower

Jack Resnick & Sons announced today that URvet Care, a new state-of-the-art veterinary services provider, will open its first Lower Manhattan clinic on the ground floor of 200 Chambers Street, a luxury condominium tower originally developed by Resnick in 2007.

URvet Care founders Evan Stoopler and David Finkelstein are joined by distinguished veterinary industry veteran, Dr. Andrew Karmin, who serves as Chief of Staff, along with a team of New York’s top-tier doctors and specialists.  The 2,563-square-foot clinic, which will offer primary and progressive veterinary care, is one of four debut URvet Care locations. Both scheduled visits and walk-ins are welcome. The grand opening at 200 Chambers is anticipated for late fall of this year.

Recognized as Tribeca’s first luxury high-rise development, the Resnick family broke ground on the 30-story tower in 2005 and has continued to lease and manage its garage and retail space since completing the sale of all 258 luxury condominium units in 2007.  Resnick also owns and leases to the NYC Department of Education a 10,000-square-foot annex in the building which is used by neighboring P.S. 234.

“The residential neighborhoods of Tribeca and Lower Manhattan have continued to grow and flourish in the 15 years since we completed 200 Chambers,” said Jonathan Resnick, President of Jack Resnick & Sons. “More people means more pets, which makes URvet Care a perfect addition to the local community.”

URvet Care is joined at Resnick’s retail condominium, which is now fully leased, by The Palm Steakhouse and Mattress Firm, which recently opened its 200 Chambers store that features interactive displays designed to provide customers with a personalized, complete sleep experience.

Executive Vice President Lee Block and Associate Amanda Lagowitz of Winick Realty Group represented URvet Care on the 10-year lease transaction. Jack Resnick & Sons was represented by an in-house leasing team of Executive Managing Director Brett Greenberg and Managing Director Fran Delgorio, along with Vice Chairman Ariel Schuster, Senior Managing Director Ross Berkowitz, Managing Director Andrew Stern and Associate Jake Siegel of Newmark Retail LLC.
