Industrious Opens New Location in Downtown Houston

Industrious, the highest-rated flexible workplace company, in partnership with Brookfield Properties, today announced the opening of Industrious at Downtown Houston. Located at 3 Houston Center within Brookfield Properties’ Houston Center campus, the new location opens to meet the growing demand for coworking solutions.

“Houston, with its vibrant energy and dynamic urban landscape, stands as one of the preeminent metropolitan cities in the country where demand for coworking space continues to grow,” said Peri Demestihas, Senior Director of Real Estate at Industrious. â€śThis collaboration reinforces our commitment to delivering exceptional experiences and innovative solutions to hybrid employees throughout the Southwest.”

Industrious at Houston Downtown totals 23,489 square feet, providing 60 offices, 277 desks and 10 phone booths, along with multiple conference rooms of varying sizes. Commuters can easily access the Red and Purple Lines, as well as the 6, 40, and 41 buses. Drivers also have easy access to I-45 and I-69, along with parking and bike storage available on-site. The vibrant downtown area includes premium fitness, dining and lifestyle services at Houston Center, access to Discovery Green, 3 stadiums, the George R. Brown Convention Center, and numerous hotels and restaurants all close by. The location is also Industrious’ second addition to the Houston market, joining Industrious at CityWest, situated in West Houston at 2101 CityWest Boulevard.

“As tenants increasingly return to the office, Brookfield is well-positioned to meet their needs with world-class amenities, modern office spaces, and free year-round events for employees across the entirety of our office portfolio in Downtown Houston,” said Travis Overall, Executive Vice President and Texas Region Head, Brookfield Properties. “In opening Industrious at Downtown Houston, we’re thrilled to add flexible workspaces to our offering, providing companies with creative, collaborative spaces to grow their businesses in the heart of Houston.”

Industrious builds robust networks of premium office locations across city and suburban markets to support modern workplace preferences. The hub-and-spoke model supports the increased adoption of hybrid workstyles and gives members the choice to decide when they want to commute for the big meeting downtown or work out of a smaller satellite location closer to home or their children’s school.

Rather than signing traditional leases with landlords, Industrious utilizes partnership agreements — a unique business model in the commercial real estate industry. Under this model, landlords are better positioned to meet the demands of modern occupiers. Industrious’ network includes over 160 flexible workspaces in more than 65 global markets, providing members with productive and engaging workplaces for companies of all sizes and stages.
