IN PICTURES: SCG America, F&T Group host buyer preview of Tangram House in Flushing

F&T Group and SCG America, in collaboration with Italian furnishing company Doimo Contract, hosted a buyer preview of Tangram House, part of the 1.2 million-square-foot mixed-use development Tangram in Flushing, Queens (rendering top). VIP guests were invited to the sales gallery to learn more about Tangram and its residences, which feature European furnishings by Doimo. Guests toured the onsite model residences and enjoyed live entertainment, drinks and hors d’oeuvres.

Inspired by the traditional Chinese dissection puzzle consisting of flat pieces called tans, Tangram House will bring a total of 317 luxury residences to Flushing in late 2018. The development will also include a 207-key branded lifestyle hotel; 275,000 gross square feet of cutting-edge retail; themed restaurants; a culinary food hall; beer garden; a variety of entertainment options including a movie theater; and 48 office condominiums.

F&T Group and SCG, a wholly owned subsidiary of Shanghai Construction Group headquartered in New York City,  just signed a lease with South Korean cinema giant CJ CGV to open a 34,000 s/f seven-screen 4-D multiplex at the development, according to the Commercial Observer.
