Done Deals: Roundup of the week in residential sales

After three stints on the Survivor television series, very little intimidates Corcoran’s Shii Ann Huang.

So when her clients asked her to sell a Central Park West corner penthouse in need of some TLC, she rolled up her sleeves and got on with it.

Huang explained, “The apartment was an estate and required a lot of prep work prior to showing. Clean-up, repair and painting, along with my virtual staging, created beautiful images to draw in the buyer. We’re all visual creatures, so that first impression is very important.

“Once in the apartment, the buyers saw what a rare place it was. The breathtaking Central Park views had not been on the market in 40 years.”

Huang had listed the two bedroom, 2.5-bath apartment 25B at 80 CPW at $4.75 million. In just under four weeks, Maryam Arjomand of Sloane Square came in with the best bid from several cash offers, with the sale closing at $5.4 million. “Ultimately, it was a local buyer who won,” said Huang. “They knew and loved the building, the location and views.”
