The Kaufman Organization hosted the vertical gallery grand opening and solo exhibition — titled Corporate Colors — for contemporary street artist Skott Marsi at 15 West 27th Street.
Marsi showcased the paintings he created for the elevator shafts in three buildings within Kaufman’s Madison Square Portfolio which included 15 West 27th Street (15W27), 19 West 24th Street (19W24) and 45 West 27thStreet (45W27).
During the gallery grand opening, Marsi showcased original artwork and replicas of the art created for Kaufman’s elevators, each of which were on sale.
Marsi, a New York City artist, is one of the most exciting names to emerge from the contemporary street art scene in recent years, to date, he has been commissioned to work for the likes of the Danilo Gonzalez, the accomplished artist who commissioned Skott for The Wynwood Café and renowned pop star, Christina Aguilera, as well as former NFL star, Jeremy Shockey and Daymond John, renowned entrepreneur and Shark Tank personality.
