IN PICTURES: Hudson Yards panel at Manhattan View

New York City real estate agents gathered in Manhattan View at MiMA’s newly completed penthouse 1CD for a special panel discussion about Hudson Yards and the emergence of the city’s hottest neighborhood. Moderated by Brick Underground’s managing editor Virginia Smith, the panel brought together Ryan Serhant, top broker and star of Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing New York, Sabrina Kanner of Brookfield Properties, Robert Benfatto of the Hudson Yards | Hell’s Kitchen BID, and Zachary Kussin, real estate reporter for the New York Post.

“Hudson Yards used to be a neighborhood that you would just pass through. Now it’s trendsetting,” Kussin told the audience. “It’s a city within a city that you’ll essentially never have to leave because everything is right here – office, entertainment, dining, shopping and more.”

Hudson Yards spans 48 blocks between 30th and 43rd streets from the West Side Highway to 8th Avenue.  The panelists spoke about new buildings and amenities coming to the district, from Related Companies’ mega-development to Manhattan West as well as existing residential developments like Manhattan View where people are already living the Hudson Yards lifestyle.

Guests Instagrammed photos of the panoramic skyline views while sipping on wine from Chelsea Wine Vault and enjoying a variety of signature snacks by local restaurant Siblings NYC, famous for the #WaffleDog.
