After five years in business, Long Island Realtor Mara Navaretta is moving her agency, to bigger digs.
Homes By Mara Realty of Syosset will open new, expanded headquarters at the former Angelina’s II Italian Cuisine Restaurant, at 30 Berry Hill Road in Syosset.
Purchased by Navaretta in December 2015, Navaretta has started the complete overhaul of the former restaurant that includes expansion from its original 3,000 s/f to 4,000 s/f.
The renovation is expected to be complete by May when Homes By Mara will move from its current 2,000 s/f headquarters at 567 Jericho Turnpike.
The comprehensive for the new headquarters entails the site’s expansion from partial to full second story. The full first floor will feature offices for use by the firm’s 40 agents while the second floor will be outfitted with a contemporary Realtor Lounge equipped with fireplace along with offices of real estate law firm Navaretta & Howard LLP, which is co-headed by Navaretta’s husband, John Navaretta.
The expansion will allow Navaretta and her agency to expand its turn-key client real estate accommodations and services to offer new access to empowering, informational home buyer seminars and tax grievance workshops for Long Island home buyers and sellers.
“I am so excited over our move to our new, larger headquarters,” saud Navaretta. “Our move to this comprehensively renovated and expanded property is indicative of the continual growth that Homes By Mara has seen over the last five years.
“Since first opening my own agency, it has been my mission to recruit quality agents and to ensure that Long Island home buyers and sellers are provided with personalized, hands-on, quality attention as well as representation. Our new headquarters allows me to further my goal in broadening my reach and amenities and essentially continue raising the bar in quality real estate service.”
Since opening Homes By Mara in 2010 with only five agents, Navaretta’s agency operations and sales have grown exponentially. Sales volume has grown from $50 million to $125 million as the company has expanded beyond its local base to areas as far out as Jamesport, Nissequogue and West Hampton Beach.
