HAVE YOU HEARD: Corcoran agents host more than 100 for breakfast, Muhammad Ali’s former home up for sale

Corcoran agent Lydia Sussek, along with Irene O’Halloran, hosted more than 100 agents for breakfast at their at 141 Fifth Avenue, PHE, which just hit the market for $6,950,000.

The guest of honor was chef Seamus Mullen — chef-owner of New York restaurants Tertulia and El Colmado — who signed copies of his book Hero Food, how cooking with delicious things can help us feel better, and discussed tips on healthy eating during the holidays.

Mullen is also the brains behind the Flatiron staple Boqueria, and was a finalist on The Next Iron Chef, as well as a regular guest judge on Chopped and Beat Bobby Flay.

The newly-listed four bedroom, 3-bath duplex penthouse has its own chef’s kitchen, and two levels separating the spacious living and entrainment spaces.


Gaia Real Estate has partnered with local Murray Hill artist, Shadin Hossain,of Galleria on Third, to display pieces of city-centric artwork in a newly renovated residence within The Corinthian Collection.

The Corinthian Collection is a group of 144 residences within The Corinthian Condominium, the 57-story building on East 38th Street and First Avenue. Gaia Real Estate purchased Collection in 2014 and has already sold 40 percent of residences since launching sales earlier this year.

Danny Fishman, managing partner of Gaia Real Estate, said, “There is a strong sense of community within the building and we are thrilled to provide a space where residents and guests can enjoy Shadin’s beautiful pieces, as well as incredible city and river views.”

Originally from Bangladesh, Hossain came to the U.S. at the age of 17 and opened Galleria on Third in 1999.

The shop has gained a reputation as of one of the best galleries and framing businesses in New York.
Hossain’s artwork will remain on display until May 2016 and is available for purchase.


Curbed Philly spotted the listing for the former family home of Muhammad Ali. Cheryl Dare of Keller Williams has listed the Cherry Hill, NJ, Tuscan-style villa at $750,000.

She told the 6,688 s/f five bedroom, 5-bath house needs some TLC. Its attributes include the 1.5-acre wooded lot, heated marble floors, pool and tennis court.
