Colliers International announced that Joseph Harbert, a leader in the New York real estate market for more than 30 years, has joined Colliers International as the president of its Eastern Region.
Harbert will report directly to Dylan Taylor, CEO of the US operations of Colliers International.
“Joe has long been a leading real estate executive in the tri-state region with an unparalleled track record for driving strategic growth in the New York market and globally,” said Taylor.
“With the addition of Joe to our senior U.S. executive team, our goal of becoming a market leader in New York and the eastern region will be rapidly accelerated.”

Most recently, Harbert was the chief operating officer for Cushman & Wakefield in the New York tri-state region and its area leader for the northeast.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield in 2004, he was in senior leadership positions with Edward S. Gordon, Insignia/ESG and later CBRE.
