Leasing is now underway at Acacia, the first rental building In Bed-Stuy striving for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver certification and home to the neighborhood’s first on-site co-generation plant.
With 105 luxury rental residences, the nine-story development will offer high-efficiency technology that will reduce Acacia’s carbon footprint, while helping residents lower their energy consumption and costs.
Offering a mix of one- to three-bedroom homes ranging in size from 664 to 1,177 s/f, many of the units feature private balconies and terraces. Pricing begins at $1,887 per month. MNShas been tapped as the exclusive leasing and marketing firm for the development.

Green features at Acacia include fresh filtered air in corridors, programmable thermostats in individual rooms, EnergyStar appliances, water-conserving fixtures, floor-to-ceiling Low-E windows and energy-efficient lighting. Acacia was also constructed using recycled and regional matters.
The building, at 1560 Fulton Street, has a part-time doorman, furnished outdoor terrace with lounge and dining areas, landscaped courtyard and a children’s play room. On-site parking and bicycle storage is also available for rent.
