Global construction firm relocating operation from Queens to Jersey

Everest Construction Group, global manufacturer of aluminum products, is relocating its tri-state operations from Queens to New Jersey.

NAI James E. Hanson announced that it has negotiated a 19,600 s/f full building industrial lease at 208 Huyler Street in South Hackensack,  for the company.

Andrew Somple and Justin Allessio represented both the landlord, 208 Huyler LLC, and the tenant.

“Due to the lack of available product across northern New Jersey, recently renovated warehouse spaces like 208 Huyler represent the gold standard for industrial space in New Jersey,” said Somple.

“Deals like this showcase how these rare properties continue to be able to attract quality tenants like Everest Construction Group to New Jersey. We were happy to work with both of our clients to negotiate a long-term deal that would bring another new business to New Jersey while helping the landlord secure fair market value for their unique asset.”

208 Huyler Street is a single-story industrial building in a highly accessible location between Interstate 80 and Route 46. The building features 18 ft. ceilings, 1,200 s/f of office space, two drive-in doors and one tailgate as well as 20 parking spaces.

Aiming to capitalize on the strong demand for modern industrial space in the South Hackensack market, the building’s owner recently began a substantial capital improvement plan at the property. Completed upgrades include new LED lighting, HVAC, and overhead doors. The building’s bathrooms and office areas are also currently being renovated.

According to the brokers, the property’s easy access to the northeastern United States via Interstate 80 and the New Jersey Turnpike, as well as its regional connectivity through Routes 4, 17 and 46 paired with its tall ceilings and loading space, made it an ideal new warehousing and distribution center for Everest Construction Group as the company sought to leave their current facility in Queens.

Headquartered in Albania, Everest’s footprint has grown to six different locations spanning Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Malta, Montenegro, and the United States. With more than 25 years of experience, the c ompant engages in the design, production, and marketing of aluminum profiles, windows, doors, and facades as well as other architectural applications for architectural studios, construction companies, aluminum system manufacturers and more.
