Frozen dessert shop Snowdays coming to Forest Hills

Snowdays, a shaved cream dessert shop that is expanding into the outer boroughs, has signed a 10-year lease for 480 s/f at 72-74 Austin Street in Forest Hills, Queens.

Eastern Consolidated’s Joe Robinson arranged for Snowdays, his third in a little over a year for the retailer.

Robinson found Snowdays’ first location at 241 East 10th Street in the East Village in 2014, and another at 167 Seventh Avenue South in the West Village last summer before turning his attention to the outer boroughs.

Robinson scouted the neighborhood accompanied by Snowdays’ owner and founder Tony Quach.

“After visiting at different times of the day and studying the pedestrian and automobile traffic patterns, we concluded that 72-24 Austin Street would be an ideal place to set up shop,” Robinson said. “A lot is happening in this area including a Shake Shack opening on the same block and a Target Express opening a few blocks away.”

Robinson is continuing seek additional sites in Brooklyn, the Upper West Side, and Financial District.
