Front & York Signs Leases for Restaurant and Veterinarian in DUMBO as Development’s Retail Offering Expands

Front & York, the new mixed-use development in DUMBO, today announced the signing of three new leases to expand its retail offerings for residents and visitors. The new tenants include Nobody Told Me, a restaurant and cocktail bar; The Animal Cardiology Center, New York City’s first cardiology-only veterinary practice; and Petits Poussins DUMBO, a bilingual daycare and preschool that will add an additional 1,154 square feet to the 3,952-square-foot lease they signed earlier this year.

These new leases come on the heels of the recent opening of Devoción, the Brooklyn-based coffee roaster and café, on the corner of York and Jay Streets; the unveiling of the 12-foot public art sculpture Ampersand on the corner of Front and Jay Streets; and the opening of Life Time’s sales center on Bridge Street ahead of their expected opening in October 2022. Earlier this year, Front & York also signed leases with CVS and Lazy Sundaes, a New York-based bubble tea and dessert concept that is expected to open in fall 2022.

“In addition to a new residential offering, Front & York continues to enhance the comprehensive retail experience in DUMBO,” said Jason Schreiber, Principal, Investments of CIM Group, co-developer of Front & York. “The Front & York community continues to flourish with the arrival of new residents, and we are excited to share this well-rounded retail collection with our residents and the surrounding DUMBO community.”

Nobody Told Me, a lively Upper West Side restaurant and cocktail bar, is opening its second location in the city at Front & York. The restaurant will bring its signature burgers, spicy chicken sandwiches and an expansive raw bar to its newest outpost. The 2,810-square-foot restaurant will be located at the corner of Bridge and Front Streets, a short walk from the York Street subway station, and is slated to open in spring 2023.

“We love DUMBO and are incredibly excited to bring our food and drinks to this vibrant community,” said Nick Pfannerstill and Alberto Miranda, co-founders of Nobody Told Me. “Our aim is to create a space that adds to the everyday rhythm of the neighborhood, with something for everyone.”

Front & York has also signed a 3,120-square-foot lease on York Street with The Animal Cardiology Center (“TACC”), New York City’s first cardiology-only veterinary practice. TACC, led by Dr. Justin Carlson, a board-certified veterinary cardiologist, will provide veterinary cardiac care in a practice designed specifically for pet patients’ needs and is slated to open in 2023.

“My team and I are in the unique setting of a pet cardiology-only practice, so everything we do is designed around providing the best veterinary care and experience for people and their pets,” said Justin Carlson, VMD, DACVIM, founder of The Animal Cardiology Center. “We look forward to joining the Brooklyn veterinary community with our great location at Front & York.”

Occupying the block between Front, Jay, York and Bridge Streets, Front & York is bringing new condominium homes, retail and parking to a formerly vacant lot in DUMBO. Front & York combines elegant homes with one of the most comprehensive amenities packages in all of New York City, spanning 150,000 square feet and including one the city’s largest private parks and the largest New York City location of Life Time. Immediate occupancy is available. For additional information or to schedule an appointment at the sales gallery, please visit https://frontandyork.com/ or call 718-246-3866.
