Finance firm Robert W. Baird takes full floor at 1155 Avenue of the Americas

The Durst Organization announced that Robert W. Baird & Co. Incorporated has signed a 15-year lease for the entire 16th floor of 1155 Avenue of the Americas.

The building is currently undergoing a $110 million capital improvement program. Upgrades include a new lobby, destination dispatch elevators, new windows and floor-to-ceiling glass at the building’s chamfered corners.

A roof-top pavilion is also under construction with views of Bryant Park, the Empire State Building and One World Trade Center.

“We are thrilled to welcome the Baird team to 1155 Avenue of the Americas,” said Jonathan (Jody) Durst, President of The Durst Organization.

“Boutique financial service firms are the perfect fit for the newly repositioned 1155. Smaller, window-rich floors with limited numbers of columns and outstanding transit connectivity make 1155 Avenue of the Americas the ideal location for financial service firms with public-facing practices.”

Baird was represented by principal Andrew Stein of Vicus Partners.

The Durst Organization was represented in-house by senior managing director Rocco Romeo.
