Women-owned Talea Beer & Brewery is opening a taproom in Williamsburg.
Joshua Berkun and David Green at Kassin Sabbagh Realty brokered the 10,000 s/f lease at 87 Richardson Street.
Founded by former homebrewers LeAnn Darland and Tara Hankinson, TALEA Beer Co. is the first female-forward beer brand in the US. In less than three months, the company has sold 100 barrels of beer, secured 85 accounts across the city and has their beer stocked in Whole Foods across NYC.
The new Williamsburg tap room is located across from the New York Distilling Company. It will open in 2020,.
