DONE DEALS: Roundup of this week’s residential sales

Citi Habitats agent Robert Vesce helped a young professional couple make the leap from renting to owning.
His clients closed on 360 East 88th Street, #14A (pictured top) for $1,350,000.
“This was a ‘third time is the charm’ deal as we lost the first two properties they tried to buy,” Vesce said. “The first apartment went to contract, needed a gut renovation and they hired an architect and drew up plans. Unfortunately, they couldn’t make it work. They lost the second unit to a buyer with a bigger down payment.”
Fortune finally shone on the home-seekers. “When we walked into the third apartment, the clouds parted and the sun beamed down on this ideal place and they felt at home right away,” said Vesce. “Everything that had needed to be renovated in the first apartment was already done.”
Located in the Leighton House, the corner two bedroom, 2-bath has a 27 ft. long living/dining area with oversized windows.
It was on the market for seven weeks listed for $1.4 million.
Seema Advani of Compass represented the sellers.
