DONE DEALS: Morningside sale a lucky call

“Eight is a lucky number in some cultures, so to have the listing at #8B in 88 Morningside, I was hopeful that this special property would bring good luck to both the sellers (my clients) and to the buyer,” said Andrea Saturno-Sanjana of Citi Habitats.

“The feature that drew so many buyers to the property was the stunning view of Morningside Park from the floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room.”

Other stand-out features of the two-bedroom, two-bath condominium include ash-hued hardwood floors, recessed lighting and in-unit Bosch washer/dryer.

The contemporary gourmet kitchen includes a breakfast bar, Leihberr and Bosch appliances and Euro-style lacquer cabinetry.  Saturno-Sanjana listed the property for $1,100,000. “We had multiple offers and had an accepted offer within eight days,ˮ said Sanjana. “The buyer turned out to be a New Yorker working internationally who will ultimately live in the unit upon returning to our city.”

Gevorg Gevorgyan of Citi Habitats represented the buyer, who closed at $1.2 million.
