DONE DEALS: Love is in the air

Corcoranʼs Lisa Fitzig just gave a pair of newly-weds their best wedding gift.

She helped the couple through a “tough negotiationˮ to land a Gramercy apartment for $2.275 million.
Fitzig said her clients fell in love with the duplex at 321 Second Avenue.

Located in a townhouse off Stuyvesant Square, the renovated two-bedroom, 1,300 s/f home has a private garden accessed via a butterfly staircase on the parlor level or French doors from the master bedroom.

A modern chef’s kitchen, formal dining and living rooms are on the parlor floor and the master suite is downstairs along with a guest room. Fitzig said the renovation included a state-of-the-art HVAC and wiring for a sound system.

The duplex was listed at $2.495 million by a Brown Harris Stevens team that included Mike Lubin, Johan Daniel Tamasi and Lindsey Stone.

Fitzig closed the deal $220,000 below  ask within seven weeks. “At one point, the negotiations were going poorly, but happily my clients managed to buy a home they love.”
