Ideal Properties Groupʼs Jennifer Rhodes and Erik Serras scored a king’s ransom on a Crown Heights “castle.ˮ
The pair brokered a record-breaking price for Unit C at 1372 Dean Street, a fortress-like landmarked building, dubbed “The Castle” for its impressive brick façade and three-story curved turret.

Built in 1888, the property was restored by Komaru Enterprises and converted to four unique condo residences.

Unit C, a 1,164 s/f two-bedroom, two-bath, sold for $1.15 million, garnering $987 per square foot.
“The Castle was redeveloped with the most intricate personal touches and elements from local Brooklyn stores,” said Aleksandra Scepanovic, managing director of Ideal.
“With this level of elaborate detail, and the continued decrease in inventory in Crown Heights North and beyond, we are not surprised at the record-breaking sales prices. We expect this trend to continue throughout the rest of 2016.”
