Daniel Gale Sotheby’s acquires Long Island brokerage firm

Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty, one of the nation’s leading realtors, has acquired Virginia O’Dwyer Real Estate of Stony Brook, New York. Daniel Gale Sotheby’s President and CEO Patricia Petersen made the announcement.

Michael O’Dwyer, whose real estate career spans more than 25 years at the agency his mother founded, will manage what will be known as the Virginia O’Dwyer Division of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty. The combined Daniel Gale Sotheby’s/Virginia O’Dwyer group will occupy the former O’Dwyer agency office at 1067 Route 25A, Stony Brook, opposite the Stony Brook Long Island Railroad station and Stony Brook University.
