Cushman & Wakefield has been appointed by RXR Realty as exclusive leasing agent for approximately 100,000 s/f being vacated by Pearson PLC at 1330 Avenue of the Americas.
Ownership recently completed a capital improvement program, which included an upgrade to the building’s plaza.
The total space, which will be available when Pearson PLC vacates at the end of 2013, accounts for seven floors in the 40-story trophy building, which includes floors 7 to 10, 14, 16 and 17.
The illuminated signage, which is visible on all four-sides of the tower, is also available to a tenant leasing multiple floors.
A Cushman & Wakefield team led by Bruce Mosler, chairman of Global Brokerage, Tara Stacom, vice chairman, Mikael Nahmias, senior managing director of the firm’s Strategic Agency Services Group, Jared Horowitz, executive director, Whitten Morris, associate director and Peter Alden, senior associate, will serve as leasing agent.
“This is an incredible branding opportunity for a trophy building in Midtown Manhattan that offers high-quality space with hands-on ownership,” said Mosler.
Building in 1965, 1330 Avenue of the Americas was completely renovated in 2006.
