C&W team retained for Soho office assignment

Cushman & Wakefield has been retained on an exclusive basis to market two floors for lease at 490 Broadway, a landmarked office building in SoHo.

A Cushman team consisting of Vice Chairman James Frederick, Executive Director Stephen Bellwood and Associate Gordon Hough will be leading the marketing efforts on behalf of the property’s landlord, Ponte Gadea.

“This property with its iconic cast iron façade, offers the opportunity for a select group of tenants to identify their company with a classic building in the heart of SoHo,” said Frederick.

The 35,458 s/f building consists of five stories, with the lower floors positioned for retail use and the above designated for office.

The Cushman & Wakefield team will be marketing a total of 13,505 s/f of office space on the second and third floors. The second and third floors offer 13 and 14 ft. ceilings respectively, while the building provides security features, high speed fiber, and onsite management. The building has a passenger elevator and one freight elevator.
