Jack Schwartz Shoes, Inc., founded in New York City in 1936, has signed a 7½-year lease renewal for its headquarters space at 155 Avenue of the Americas.
Jack Schwartz Shoes will continue to occupy 15,474 s/f of office space — the entire 9th Floor — in addition to 3,583 s/f of basement space.
Trinity Real Estate was represented in house by Tom Lynch. Jack Schwartz Shoes negotiated directly with the owner.
An innovator in footwear, Jack Schwartz Shoes brought to market its first line of Lugz boots in 1993. Within months, the brand became the signature footwear of several key hip hop artists, setting a pattern of celebrity-driven sales for its brand.
