CBRE Group’s Westchester/Connecticut office has been appointed the exclusive leasing agent forThe Exchange at Westchester Avenue, a 1.6-million-square-foot, Class-A office portfolio comprising 14 buildings along Westchester Avenue in Westchester County, NY.
The CBRE team of Brian Carcaterra, senior vice president; Michael McCall, vice president; and Peter Hansen, senior associate, will oversee the marketing campaign of the portfolio on behalf of current ownership, Normandy Real Estate Partners.
The appointment comes on the heels of the team’s recent transition to CBRE.
“The Exchange offers potential tenants a unique opportunity to operate their business in the County’s finest corporate office parks with unparalleled highway access,” said Carcaterra.
“We anticipate strong interest in the property from a range of companies, and we look forward to working closely with ownership to complete a successful renovation and lease up program that will encourage local economic growth.”
The Exchange encompasses 701-777 Westchester Avenue, 925 and 1025 Westchester Avenue, 2500 and 2700 Westchester Avenue and 103, 105, 106, 108 and 110 Corporate Park Drive, all of which offer immediate access to I-287, I-684 and The Hutchinson River/Merritt Parkways.
Tenants are afforded a variety of on-site amenities such as state-of-the-art fitness centers, full service cafeterias, conferencing facilities, sundry shops and service to each park to and from the White Plains Transportation Center via the Westchester County Bee-Line bus system.
Corporate tenants include J.P. Morgan Chase, Wells Fargo and UBS. Area amenities include over three-hundred hotel rooms located less than one-mile from the portfolio in addition to the new Life Time Fitness facility, which is slated to open in 2014.
Normandy Real Estate Partners has invested over $30 million in the ongoing re-development of The Exchange, which has included modernizing building exteriors, installing new landscaping, reinventing the main entrances and lobbies, reconfiguring and optimizing floor plans and designing new common co.
The CBRE team will work closely with ownership and its in-house property management team, along with Avison & Young, who provides architectural and construction services to the portfolio.
