Caruso taks gallery space; Skincare specialist opens first NYC location;

The Madison Avenue team of Faith Hope Consolo, chairman, and Joseph Aquino, executive vice president, of Douglas Elliman’s Retail Group has leased a grand, multi-level space at 45 East 58th Street to Caruso.

The new location will be the luxury label’s first U.S. location, New York flagship and additionally house its showroom.

Created by fashion impresario Umberto Angeloni, the Plaza District store is situated directly across from the Four Seasons Hotel and Brioni boutique.

“This is truly elegant menswear, designed in Italy and created by the former C.E.O. and co-owner of Brioni,” said Consolo.  “A New York debut in the heart of the Plaza District should be ‘harmonious’ for this Caruso on myriad levels.”

Added Aquino, “The label caters to what it defines as the ‘modern rich’. Launching a U.S. flagship near Barneys, Bergdorf and Bloomingdale’s, where the fashion-conscious with means shop, inherently spells success.”

Formerly the Spanierman Gallery, the unusually large space encompasses more than 11,000 square feet on two levels.

Consolo and Aquino exclusively represented the tenant. The landlord, 480 Park Avenue Corp., was represented by Ripco.


Faith Hope Consolo and Joseph Aquino of Douglas Elliman’s Retail Group have arranged the first New York City location for skincare specialist Infinite Beauty st 1031 Third Avenue.

Formerly a Laila Rowe store, Infinite Beauty will be close to such businesses as Arche, Kusmi Tea, Variazioni and Biscuits & Bath as well as Ethan Allen and Bloomingdale’s.

Consolo and Aquino represented the landlord and the tenant, which also worked with its own consultant, DJK Realty.
