Cambridge in America signs Hippodrome lease

Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, Edison Properties, and Cambridge in America in a long-term lease for 10,281 s/f at the Hippodrome Building at 1120 Avenue of the Americas.

The lease is the latest in a recent string at the building, including Citizen Watch Company of America, Inc. and Daruma Capital Management, LLC.
Cambridge in America promotes interest in and support for Cambridge University and its 31 constituent Colleges among alumni and friends in the United States. It joins the British Broadcasting Corporation as a tenant of the Hippodrome Building.

“We are proud to add Cambridge in America to our growing roster of tenants, which will serve as the alumni center in the U.S. for Cambridge University,” said Andy Gottesman, principal of the Hippodrome.

A Cushman & Wakefield team of Gus Field, Michael Burgio and David Berke, represented Edison Properties as exclusive leasing agent. C&W’s Robert Constable and Jonathan Luttwak represented Cambridge in America in the transaction.
