Industry City, the 40-acre industrial center of Bush Terminal, has announced that Lights Up!, a designer and manufacturer of contemporary lighting, signed a lease for 12,000 s/f at 148 39th Street.
Lights Up! will use its space primarily for manufacturing and wholesale with plans to integrate a design studio in the near future.
“Beyond the building’s industrial aesthetic, Lights Up! was instantly drawn to the space’s versatility that allows for both a modern showroom as well as an assembly point for its fixtures,” said Julius Chabbott, Director of Real Estate at Industry City. “The location was also attractive because it is water front and in close proximity to a vast network of roadways for when the company needs to visit customers and or make deliveries.”
