BAY 151 ON BAYONNE WATERFRONT NOW 90% LEASED

Bayonne’s arrival among the hottest New Jersey Gold Coast destinations is on full display at Bay 151 where a combination of spacious apartments, extensive amenities, sought-after open space, and clear value is drawing renters to the Hudson County city’s waterfront peninsula.

An impressive 90% of the community’s initial 413 residences have now been leased, according to KRE Group, which is developing Bay 151.  The community is located alongside a comprehensive new neighborhood of retail, residences, pocket parks, bike paths and a waterfront walkway that is transforming Bayonne’s former Marine Ocean Terminal into a new destination.  The peninsula is surrounded by New York Harbor and offers views of the Manhattan skyline and the rolling hills and lush greenery of the adjacent Bayonne Country Club.

Bay 151, which is situated on a 16-acre property within walking distance of the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail’s 45th Street station and a planned commuter ferry terminal with service to New York City, also features more than 65,000 square feet of completed indoor and outdoor social and recreational spaces, with more planned for a future phase.  The community’s 10,000 square feet of retail space enhances the conveniences and services available throughout the area.

The overall lifestyle offering is attracting residents in increasing numbers from neighboring Gold Coast settings like Jersey City and Hoboken, as well as Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens, who want more living and outdoor space, as well as an alternative to their ever-increasing monthly rents.

“More and more people from outside of Bayonne are discovering this unique slice of Hudson County that offers a pleasant, small-town atmosphere with proximity to more urban trappings in neighboring Jersey City and New York City,” said Jonathan Kushner, President of KRE Group.  “Bay 151’s well-appointed residences and extensive indoor and outdoor amenities embrace and enhance the area’s appealing character, and we’re delighted that so many residents have chosen to make it their home.”

Designed by Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners, Bay 151 features a collection of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom residences – including some with unique loft-style floor plans. Monthly rents currently start from $2,100 with immediate occupancy available.

The homes feature stylish finishes and appointments including plank flooring throughout living areas, floor-to-ceiling windows, central air conditioning and heat, full size in-unit washer & dryer, extended closet spaces, and Kohler® bathroom fixtures. Modern kitchens offer stainless steel Whirlpool® appliances, custom cabinetry, bianco quartz countertops, and a white tile backsplash.

Modern amenities and services include a two-story, state-of-the-art fitness center, yoga room with on-demand virtual fitness classes, WiFi-equipped resident lounges, a billiards room with club seating, library and co-working space, business center with individual workstations and a conference room, a children’s playroom, media room, and a mail room with package concierge.

Outside, residents enjoy a resort style swimming pool and sun terrace, a deck with BBQ grills and outdoor dining areas, a tot lot/playground/outdoor children’s play area, a controlled-access parking deck with electric vehicle charging, and a car wash and detailing station. The pet-friendly community offers a comprehensive list of pet amenities and services through Bark Buildings, and also includes multiple dog runs and a dog washing station.

Bay 151 residents have easy access to transit and nearby retail. In addition to the 45th Street Light Rail station and planned commuter ferry terminal, a complimentary shuttle transports residents to and from the Grove Street PATH station in Jersey City. Residents are also a short drive from the entrance of the New Jersey Turnpike, Route 78, and The Holland Tunnel. Notable retail conveniences within walking distance include Costco, Starbucks, Lidl grocery store, and CVS, while a section of the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway meanders around the peninsula.
