July 10: For the sixth consecutive year, NAIOP New Jersey will join forces with the Community Food Bank (CFB) of New Jersey in Hillside to conduct a food drive and volunteer day. During the Community Action Project, volunteers will spend the day at the Food Bank headquarters in Hillside, with a combination of half-day and full-day shifts from 9:30 a.m. until 3p.m., sorting incoming donations, repacking food and household items and more. Lunch and beverages will be provided, thanks to the generosity of Dave Gibbons and Anne Estabrook of Elberon Development Group. Jul 14: In a combination of retail education, networking and fraternité, Reed MIDEM, the organizer of the annual MAPIC retail real estate conference in Cannes, France, will host its first-ever networking and cocktail event in New York City, on Bastille Day from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Stollway, 250 West 39th Street. The invitation-only event will serve as an opportunity for members of the retail and development community to hear from noted retail experts about current trends and topics, to network and celebrate, as well as receive a sneak preview of the next edition of MAPIC, scheduled this year from November 18 to November 20 in Cannes, France.
