NAIOP Seminar
Feb 18: The National Association of Industrial and Office Properties will host a COAH Update/Crowd Funding seminar at the NJ Center of Excellence, Bridgewater, NJ beginning at 3 p.m. Experts will weigh in on how developers and towns are functioning with no clear direction on affordable housing obligations, what the courts have the power to do (and possible scenarios), and potential legislative fixes to create an equitable and sustainable affordable housing funding mechanism for New Jersey. BOMA Pinnacle Awards
Feb 26: The 2015 BOMA/NY Pinnacle Awards Ceremony will be held at Chelsea Piers 60. The cocktail reception will be from 6-6:45 p.m. and the dinner will run from 7-8:30 p.m.. It is the culmination of competition held throughout 2014 in which commercial office buildings are judged according to the BOMA International standards: Historical, Government, New Construction, Earth, Renovated and Operating Office Building (by size).

REW Women’s Forum
Feb. 25: Registration is now open for the Real Estate Weekly 4th Annual Women’s Forum, which will take place at the Wyndham New Yorker Hotel. Landmarks Exhibition
April 21: The Museum of the City of New York presents SAVING PLACE: 50 Years of New York City Landmarks, an exhibition exploring the roots and impact of a landmark preservation movement. The exhibition will close on September 13, 2015.

NAIOP CRE Awards
May 14: The New Jersey Chapter of NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, has announced the recipients of its 2015 Commercial Real Estate Awards. The awards will be presented during the 28th Annual Commercial Real Estate Awards Gala, to be held at The Palace at Somerset Park, Somerset, N.J. Finn Wentworth, founder and partner, Normandy Real Estate Partners will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. The Impact Award will be presented to Constantino T. Milano, Hartz Mountain Industries, Inc. Geoffrey Schubert of CBRE and Robert R. Martie of Colliers International will receive the Industry Service Awards.
