Memorial Golf
July 7: The Industrial and Office Real Estate Brokers Association of the New York Metropolitan Area (IOREBA) will host the Jeffrey Siegel Memorial Golf and Tennis Outing at the Crestmont Country Club in West Orange, NJ. This year’s event will once again benefit The Community Food Bank of New Jersey’s
“Move for Hunger” program. All guests are invited to bring unopened, non-perishable food items to donate to the organization, or monetary tax-deductible donations are also welcomed.
Check –in and registration for the event begins at 11 A.M. with a 1:30 P.M. shotgun start to the golf tournament. The tennis tournament begins at 2 P.M. Open bar begins at 6 P.M. and dinner at 7 P.M. NAIOP NJ Community Action Project
July 10: For the sixth consecutive year, NAIOP New Jersey, the commercial real estate development association, will join forces with the Community Food Bank (CFB) of New Jersey in Hillside to conduct a food drive and volunteer day.
During the Community Action Project, volunteers will spend the day at the Food Bank headquarters in Hillside, with a combination of half-day and full-day shifts from 9:30 A.M. until 3 P.M., sorting incoming donations, repacking food and household items and more. Lunch and beverages will be provided, thanks to the generosity of Dave Gibbons and Anne Estabrook of Elberon Development Group. Community Action Co-chairs are Jon Mikula of HFF and Lauren Richter of The Rockefeller Group.

July 13: CoreNet Global New York City Chapter (CoreNet NYC) will host its annual CoreNet NYC Golf Outing. CREW Breakfast
July 14: ​Merle Gross-Ginsburg, the founder of the Association for Real Estate Women (AREW) in 1978, will visit with CREW New York from 8:30 A.M. to 9:45 A.M. at Akerman, 666 5th Ave for the Leading Ladies Breakfast Series. The event invites c-suite level women to speak about how they navigated the male-dominated commercial real estate industry. In addition to speaking with Merle, you would have the opportunity to speak with CREW New York members who are all consummate experts in their fields from architecture to project management.
PWC Transit Forum
July 15: Professional Women in Construction (PWC) will present its annual Transportation Forum: Regional Update at the Yale Club, 50 Vanderbilt Avenue (44th St.) in NYC from 8 A.M. to 10 A.M. July 16: The Newark CRE Summit a full-day informational and networking conference will be held at The Newark Club in Newark, NJ. Nov 19: WX New York Women Executives in Real Estate (WX) will host its 2015 Woman of the Year Gala from 6:00 P.M. – 10:00 P.M. at The Pierre in New York City. The gala will honor Carmen M. Bowser of Eastpointe Consultants, LLC—Ms. Bowser has closed over $6 billion in transactions while working at institutions including Capital One Bank, Prudential, TIAA-CREF and others.
