Adams & Co. Completes Deal Totaling 5,557 Square Feet at 48 West 37th Street

Manhattan’s forward-thinking, full-service real estate firm, Adams & Co. (Adams), has announced that M & J Lighting, LLC, an electrical company that specializes in electrical apparatus, equipment and wiring supplies, has signed a 5,557-square-foot, long-term lease at 48 West 37th Street taking the entire sixteenth floor.

“48 West 37th Street is an ideal building for tenants looking to be in the heart of the transit triangle with easy access to the city’s major transportation hubs,” David Levy, Principal of Adams & Co. “For a company like M & J Lighting, this building provided a long-term lease with the option to extensively adapt the space. They were eager to set up an office here given the space’s wood floors, exposed ceilings and brand-new cooling tower.”

Levy of Adams & Co. represented the tenant and Laurence Briody and Brian Gell of CBRE Group represented the landlord, Forty Right Thirty Seven Associates in the transaction. Asking rent was approximately $48 per square-foot.

Located on 37th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues, 48 West 37th Street is an 18-story building built in 1926. It features a unique window configuration; a brand-new cooling tower and multiple floors have brand new bathrooms. 48 West 37th is conveniently placed near many subway lines including the 1, 2, 3, 7, B, D, F, M, N, Q, R, PATH, Grand Central and Penn Station.
